Made from hand-hewn logs in about 1850 near Tira. although it is small, only 400 sq. ft., the couple lived there with 9 children. This one-room cabin was found completely encased in another structure. Each log and board was tagged, numbered and moved according to a tear-down diagram. It was moved to Heritage Park in 1999. The chimney made of decorative rocks was added later.
