History 

Hopkins County Heritage Park is a living history museum that celebrates the rich heritage of Hopkins County, Texas. The park is home to several historic structures, including a one-room schoolhouse, a log cabin, and a blacksmith shop. Visitors can explore these buildings and learn about life in Hopkins County during the 19th and early 20th centuries.

In addition to the historic buildings, the park features a museum that showcases artifacts and exhibits related to the history of the county. The museum includes displays on the early settlers of the area, the agricultural industry, and the impact of the railroad on Hopkins County.

Visiting Hopkins County Heritage Park 

Hopkins County Heritage Park is open year-round and admission is free. The park is located at 416 N Jackson St, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482. The park is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on weekends from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
