Your membership in the Historical Society allows you to attend Society meetings and events, provides crucial financial support for the Museum & Heritage Park, and includes a free subscription to the Society newsletter.

Hopkins County Pictorial History

Purchase your own copy of this limited edition leather-bound encyclopedia of Hopkins County history. Own a comprehensive 400+-page journey through our past as you hear the stories and see the pictures of the people and families that made Hopkins County what it is today. This compilation of stories and pictures is a “must” for your library.

Donations:

All donations to the Hopkins County Heritage Society are tax-deductible.

We accept cash, personal checks, corporate checks, cashier’s checks, money orders, major credit cards, in-kind, and material donations.

If you would like to make a donation please mail it or bring it by the museum.

The Hopkins County Historical Society greatly appreciates your generosity. This organization is run on a small budget, so every donation counts!

Clerical, cleaning, maintenance, and daily operational services are all volunteered. Promotions, including this web site, are undertaken on a strictly volunteer basis.

OTHER WAYS YOU CAN HELP

Look for us! The Hopkins County Historical Society participates in several local events, including a booth at the Dairy Festival Craft Show, a lemonade stand at the Independence Day Symphony on the Square, and other community events. Look for our booth, and show your support by purchasing Society items.

Volunteer! We always have opportunities for you to participate. Whatever your interest or skill, we welcome your involvement and ideas.

Host your event at the Heritage Park. The Park will soon have complete kitchen facilities to make event catering and preparation even easier. From a formal wedding ceremony in the chapel to a family reunion or corporate barbecue, add distinction and atmosphere to your event by planning to hold it at the Heritage Park.

Banner Advertising. Banner ad spaces (like the one shown below) can be purchased for a contribution of $200 each per year. Banner ads are placed on specified pages of this web site. You can request a specific page, subject to availability. Advertise your services, or show your support. Banner ads can be linked to your personal or company web site, your E-mail address, or they can be posted without a link. If you do not already have a banner ad, one can be designed and created for a one-time fee of $50, payable upon approval of the ad.
